Self-Worth
Self-worth that carries you through everyday life and shows in how you deal with mistakes, criticism and difficult moments.

What it is about
Our self-worth rarely shows in big decisions, but in small everyday moments. How you look at yourself. Whether you can set boundaries. How secure you feel when expectations fill the room.
Structured work towards a more realistic self-image: away from who you think you have to be, towards who you really want to be.
In 7 sessions, with a clear method and exercises for everyday life.
This work can be helpful if these questions sound familiar:
- Why is it so hard to take my own needs seriously?
- Why do criticism or rejection unsettle me so much?
- Why do I constantly compare myself with others?
- Why does what I achieve still never feel like enough?
- Why do certain doubts keep coming back?
The framework
7 individual sessions over three to four months, in Karlsruhe or online. A workbook of over 100 pages accompanies the whole process and stays with you afterwards.

The process: seven sessions
Each session has its own focus and builds on the one before. Between sessions, the workbook supports you in taking things into everyday life.
Getting started
Taking stock and clarifying goals. What is on your mind, and where do you want to go?
Understanding
Where does your self-image come from? Which patterns and experiences have shaped it to this day?
Reorienting
From the should-self to the want-self. New perspectives and concrete next steps.
Anchoring
Transfer into everyday life: concrete, realistic, at your own pace.
The workbook
More than a companion booklet.
The workbook was developed specifically for this programme and combines well-founded theory with reflection and practical application. The chapters build on each other and follow the course of the sessions.
- Foundations of self-worth
- Reflection questions for personal exploration
- Exercises and prompts for everyday life
Across more than 100 pages it becomes a personal working base that remains useful beyond the programme and helps you carry your insights into everyday life.

The scientific basis
Self-worth cannot be built on affirmations. It takes understanding, method and translation into everyday life.
The foundation is the psychological model for structured self-worth work by Friederike Chmielewski and Sven Hanning: scientifically grounded and designed for structured work, not one-off aha moments.
The approach distinguishes between the should-self (who we believe we have to be) and the want-self (who we really want to be). It shows where the gap comes from and how it can be narrowed step by step: close to everyday life and easy to follow.
First meeting
In a free first meeting we look together at whether the programme fits your concern. We talk about where you stand, what is on your mind and what you hope to gain from the work. 30 minutes, no obligation, in Karlsruhe or online.
